From Earth to space, this luncheon salutes women whose commitment makes a difference in our world. This year, GSCCC is honoring NASA Langley Research Center with the Community Partnership Award and celebrating trailblazers past, present and future. Being honored posthumously are three brilliant African-American women (and Girl Scout alums) who were portrayed in the film “Hidden Figures” — Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson.

With timed 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K races, runners of all abilities can join in supporting the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast while preparing for their 2023 race season. Virtual runs are available, too, and participants receive a patch, a T-shirt, and more. And if that wasn't sweet enough, the Cookie Classic Run is the only race in Hampton Roads where you get Girl Scout cookies on the course during the race!
