As part of their commitment to bridging the digital divide and preventing summer learning loss, AT&T and Girl Scouts are collaborating to deliver FREE, entertaining, and engaging educational resources to girls in grades K-12 on The Achievery™, a digital learning platform from AT&T.
With a library of educational activities and entertaining videos across seven subject areas from education experts, The Achievery helps keep students engaged in learning outside of the classroom and connects them to a whole new world of digital learning. As a seasoned GSUSA collaborator, AT&T has long supported Girl Scouts through programs aligned with their vision of getting more girls into STEM careers by building their confidence, competence, and interest in STEM, including:
- Sponsoring the 2023 Girl Scout Convention.
- Hosting virtual family STEM events in both English and Spanish, a virtual STEM Festival pilot, and physical STEM activity kits for girls without technology access to help bridge the digital divide.
- Funding Coding for Good badges, which give girls hands-on experiences in STEM through algorithms, coding, and app design.
- Creating programs such as Imagine Your STEM Future, which inspires girls to pursue STEM careers.
- Sponsoring the 2017 G.I.R.L. Convention.
