NEW YORK, June 19, 2014 -- The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA) honored Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) and its licensing agency, The Wildflower Group, at the 2014 LIMA Licensing Excellence Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, June 17, at the industry's primary annual event, Licensing Expo, in Las Vegas. GSUSA and The Wildflower Group won "Best Corporate Brand Program" for an array of licensed products resulting in more than $100 million in retail sales.
"We are thrilled to be recognized in LIMA's Best Corporate Brand Program category," said Brian Crawford, Chief Licensing Executive at GSUSA. "We believe this tremendous honor is indicative of our hard work on behalf of the Girl Scouts brand and our 2.3 million girl members."
"Great things happen when you work hard to nurture an iconic American brand beloved by so many," said Danny Boockvar, Chief Operating Officer at GSUSA. "We would like to thank The Wildflower Group and our Girl Scout licensees for working with us on an award-winning corporate brand program that will continue to grow in the Girl Scout movement's second century."
"It is very gratifying that our team's hard work and dedication to this singular brand has been recognized by LIMA and the overall licensing community," said Michael Carlisle, Principal, The Wildflower Group. "We are delighted to have the opportunity to work closely with Girl Scouts of the USA to continue to extend the venerable brand's footprint in new and exciting ways for consumers everywhere."

We're Girl Scouts of the USA
We're 2.7 million strong—1.9 million girls and 800,000 adults
who believe girls can change the world. It began over 100 years ago
with one woman, Girl Scouts' founder Juliette Gordon "Daisy"
Low, who believed in the power of every girl. She organized the first
Girl Scout troop on March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia, and every
year since, we've made her vision a reality, helping girls discover
their strengths, passions, and talents. Today we continue the Girl
Scout mission of building girls of courage, confidence, and character,
who make the world a better place. We're the preeminent leadership
development organization for girls. And with programs for girls from
coast to coast and across the globe, Girl Scouts offers every girl a
chance to do something amazing. To volunteer, reconnect, donate, or
