Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation
Girl Scouts of the USA and the Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation have partnered together to develop the Rocketry Toolkit for Girl Scouts to engage in amateur rocket activities, specifically the Aerospace Industries Association’s American Rocketry Challenge.
With support from the Aerospace Industries Association, Girl Scouts will strengthen their STEM skills and career opportunity awareness. The Rocketry Challenge will help girls increase their knowledge of the aerospace industry and will lay the foundation for them to become the next generation of female leaders in the STEM workforce.
Thanks to the Aerojet Rocketdyne Foundation’s support, six council teams will be competing in the American Rocketry Challenge. The Rocketry Toolkit for Girl Scout councils and troops designed to support Rocketry teams is available on the Girl Scout Activity Zone.
