As part of its commitment to supporting girls in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), AT&T has announced a $1 million collaboration with Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA). Girl Scouts has a history of introducing STEM to underserved and underrepresented communities, and through AT&T’s generous support, we will continue to engage these groups as part of our vision to get more girls into the STEM workforce by building their confidence, competence, and interest in STEM.
Over the next year, AT&T’s funding will support virtual family STEM events in both English and Spanish, a virtual STEM expo pilot, and physical STEM activity kits for girls without technology access to help bridge the digital divide.
