Infosys Foundation USA and Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) have joined forces to increase girls’ access to computer science education. A generous grant from the Infosys Foundation USA supports the development of new STEM badges and the launch of Girl Scout Family STEM Nights in fall 2019.
Girl Scout Family STEM Nights will guide girls and their families through hands-on activities in science, technology, engineering, and math. Activities are inspired by Girl Scout programming and rooted in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
The GSUSA/Infosys Foundation USA partnership supports K–12 girls and their families across the United States in exploring STEM topics and careers in fun, learn-through-doing environments, equipping them with confidence and competency across engineering, computer science and outdoor STEM experiences. This progressive program aims to tackle the STEM gender gap and bridge the digital divide.
